Jessica serves as Legislative Affairs Associate at SiX. She began her journey with SiX as an intern in 2019, providing research, writing, and administrative support. Prior to joining SiX, she worked for a progressive Colorado State Senator as well as working on two electoral campaigns for the Colorado State House. She also worked for the LGBTQ+ advocacy group One Colorado and the reproductive health care provider Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains. Jessica graduated summa cum laude from the University of Denver (DU) where she earned a BA with Honors in Political Science and English Textual Studies. She received the Outstanding Senior in Political Science award from DU and the 2018 Portz Scholar award from the National Collegiate Honors Council. She lives in Colorado with her friends and two dogs.
